They've been lying to get him out of office since he was just a candidate. I have no idea why they are so afraid of him.

I think the Media created a bogeyman, they're not bright enough to see through the bullshite.

Sorry, but I don’t see any “successful” people in the real world hitching their wagon to someone as toxic as trump

Probably already answered in this thread but he’s a populist leader and he’s completely antithetical to the bureaucrats’ existence and power.

I guess we have to pick our poison then.

One could argue an even bigger threat to democracy is packing the Supreme Court. Or ending the filibuster. Or mass mail outs of ballots. Or passing more gun restrictions.

Sorry, but I’ll choose 400 unarmed people walking around the capitol breaking a few windows of those are my options. And I don’t have to put much thought into it.

If you think THAT demonstration was an attempt against our democracy?
Please, I want to understand... this well planned and executed "insurrection" purpose was??????
They took nobody hostage. They weren't armed.
If they truly were attempting to take over the Capital, why did they stop?
Was that the plan? Force their way inside and break some windows? Lol.

Once again, liberals have no logic.

They are terrified of anyone holding them accountable for their crimes.

I guess Democrats and the media called him Hitler just enough times for you.

Grats on falling in line.

Meanwhile we have a late stage dementia patient in office doing all kinds of stupid shite and you're probably fine with that.

Now do you see why we don't get along?

Would be nice if you could give a specific example of Trump being toxic. Yeah, he gave people crass knicknames. It's probably because he was being called "worse than Hitler" every 30 seconds for no real reason. That would piss me off too. You act like other politicians aren't toxic, only Trump. You're ridiculous.

Trump has proven time and time again that he only surrounds himself with useful idiots who feed his ego. Smart successful people continue to distance themselves from him and his MagaCult

No they don't.

Nice of you to throw in the word cult there too. Revealing.

The whole "woke" culture is a cult if you want to really use the word correctly.

Keep voting for politicians who use their political career to gain wealth. That's what most are there for.

The two primary goals of a politician is to gain wealth and get reelected. They consider themselves royalty to an extent and they are treated as such by their followers.

Yes, Trump supporters are fanatic because we remember how good things were in the country policy wise. Take away all the bullshite rhetoric and realize the country was in a good spot. You probably were force fed all the bullshite lies and never got to hear all the good things he did.

Things are so great now huh? Democrats fricked up a ton of things in just two years, and there's a lot of people out there who see that.

Absolutely not, which is why I think it is dumb to go all out for someone like trump when you have DeSantis who is pretty much the same guy without all the bullshite

I'm a petty, spiteful person. I want to see the opposition's reaction to Trump getting elected again. I thoroughly enjoyed seeing people cry that election night in 2016.

I'd be completely fine with DeSantis though, and I agree with your description of him as a political candidate.

Point to the moment Trump incited anyone to attack the capitol.

Meanwhile, Democrats have urged violence and divisive rhetoric on a routine basis.

I'm certain you'll place equal blame on Sen. Schumer for the attempted assassination of Justice Kavanaugh, right?

Right?

I wouldn’t describe it as “scared,” so much as I’d call it desperation, terror and fright. On a pie chart populated with the things to which the left devotes time, manpower and resources, and the translations into proportions, the tasty Trump slice would take up 65ish% of the whole.

So a bunch of unarmed people were going to overthrow our republic?

There were more people at the womens march trying to do the same. The diff was they were actually led in by politicians saying stuff like, fight like hell.

Donald Trump is NOT on the Globalist Train. Plus, they cringe whenever the term "America First" is spoken. They must not only deny the Presidency to Trump, they must destroy him.
