Because it will make other POS's pause before they reveal themselves to be absolute jackasses...
You can only punish those who do wrong in hopes that will stop others from doing the same wrong. The left has plenty of faux heroes. One more won't matter. Don is a loser, and he's been jettison even by his own colleagues. I doubt people will rally behind him. That's WHY he's doing all this stupid shite since he got fired. He's trying to stay relevant.
