Also Graham with his deliberate sabotage with the insane abortion policy.

White women in suburbs and the cucks married to them who can’t control them in their voting habits.

That’s why.

Midterms typically go to the party that’s out of control. The way the media talks about politics is a bigger factor than we think, though. In the past, the party in power would get the vast majority of media coverage. Now it’s all Trump all the time which creates Trump fatigue. This bleeds over into congressional elections. That’s not Trump’s fault, but the media’s doing. Also, ballot harvesting. Also, complacency among Republican voters who kept hearing about the red wave and figured their vote wasn’t needed.

Sorry bud, but this is the answer. The left may be naive, but that’s the lesser evil given that the right is full-on crazy.

The complete lack of defense of Dobbs didn't help. Republicans ran from it instead of embracing their election year policy. It demoralized conservaties and progressives smelled their fear and went after it. Feckless.

Saying it doesn't make it so.

Also, implying it doesn't make it so.

I think Fraud too. Theres no way most people like the democrats candidates and/or policies more, it cant be that simple.

You might think that, but…

quote:

The nonpartisan Tax Policy Center estimates that 57% of U.S. households paid no federal income taxes for 2021

THIS is the real answer. Claim Dominion fraud all you want. There’s voter fraud in every damn election.

But for the first time ever in 2021, more Americans than not paid zero federal income taxes. Lots of people vote to make sure their gravy train continues.

And when you add in they can vote from their couch rather than having to show up at a polling place, it greatly increases the chance that the lazies among us show up and cast a ballot.

Lindsey Graham probably cost the House 10 seats and a couple in the Senate with his perfectly timed proposal for a nationwide abortion restriction bill right before the midterms.

Funny how all the fraud happened in those key states. Coincidence I’m sure.

Roe Vs Wade being overturned crushed any hopes of a Red Wave. White women in Big cities/suburbs voted Dem because they will watch the entire society burn to the ground if women can’t abort their children. I live in a big city & I know these women. They tell me these things. Abortion is their #1 issue. This is the insanity we are dealing with here.

The only thing the GOP could do that would hurt their electoral chances worse than this is repeal Obamacare.

If Republicans had come out and defended Dobbs it would've tipped the house to the Dems.

I don't think you all realize how insanely unpopular this is in most of the country. You all sit in your little echo chambers because you've decided the media that everyone else listens to is biased and only yours is telling the truth.

An abortion ban lost on a ballot initiative in Kansas, a state with a GOP governor, two GOP senators and GOP state house and Senate.

Conservative policies are way less popular than yall think, hence why you can't win the popular vote.

Additionally the right has gone off the deep end and let itself be taken over by insane conspiracy theorists which really only appeals to the extreme supporters and is found to be pretty abrasive by moderates.

The reality is that we've been watching the death throes of the conservative movement in America. The war has already been lost and the Rs will have to drastically conform to modern times or will be left in the dust.

This guy believes Joe Biden got 81 million legitimate votes. Whatever combo of benzo’s and SSRI’s you’re on, enjoy the ride.

Then how is Trump leading in the polls. Do you not believe the polls?

The polls are currently quite mixed. I think they show what we already know. Biden didn't win because he was popular, he won because Trump was unpopular. People didn't vote for Biden, they voted against Trump. Similar to how Trump beat Hillary. Wasn't really about Trump as much as it was about Clinton's lack of likeability and massive paper trail.

So right now we have an uninspiring sitting President and with Trump being out of office for years, some of his abrasiveness has lessened in moderate conservative minds, and thus, mixed polling.
