Why do I need one? To protect my family from disastrous scenarios including a tyrannical government, loss of government function, foreign invasion, folks trying to harm us, folks trying to take our resources, etc.
Sorry, but we've seen the government's failure to protect its citizens. I don't leave anything in the hands of other people or governments.

Some of them should be sensibly regulated.

Why would anyone need to yell at people in a public square for how they're dressed or what they presume to believe? It doesn't matter that they need to, they do it because they can and because it's a constitutionally protected activity.
