to the poster Burt Reynolds, great great work and I enjoy your clear, efficient, powerful writing style.
I have studied this issue for more than 20 years and have reached the conclusion that a 2 state solution is physically and logistically impossible. So, I propose that Israel annex the entire West Bank, make the Arabs full citizens, the idea of Palestine is finished. Gaza will eventually go to Egypt or be under UN control as Hamas is not good for them because of Israeli retaliation, not per se if you get my drift.
One nation under God in the Holy Land.

Why are there Jewish-only roads crisscrossing the West Bank? Why does Israel confiscate land from Palestinians to build Jewish-only settlements in the West Bank? Why does Israel's marriage laws and family reunification laws discriminate against Israeli Arabs solely on the basis of their religion?

There is a compelling interest not to allow the free movement of Palestinians. They have been firing rockets for weeks and killing very few people because their rockets suck. Their rickets sucks because they can't go. Get better ones.
Israel has a weird marriage system where the concept is tied up to religion. We understand freedom of religion in a different way in American than most of the world.

Israeli Palestinians . Good one. They don't have passports and can't get into Palestine to see there families or leave the country if they are truly Palestinian living in Israel. Palestinians do not exist on paper.

What do Hamas rockets, which are a relatively new to the conflict, have to do with Jewish-only roads and Jewish-only settlements that began popping up over 40 years ago before Hamas existed? I'm aware of the motivation of people who discriminate for the benefit of their tribe (eg. Dixiecrats, KKK, Nazis, ISIS, Afrikaners, Likud, Al Qaeda, Loyalists, etc.), but do you think there can ever be any moral justification for a nation discriminating on the basis of race, religion or ethnicity?

Gaza is a lost cause but the refugees should be able to travel to the West Bank (israel won't allow it).
I think this would work if israel gave them full citizenship. They have a right to full citizenship. They are the minority and are unable to win the elections, they have less money and will not outbuy the Israelis. There's no reason israel shouldn't tear down the wall with the West Bank and give full citizenship to the occupied peoples.

I think a people can try and make something for themselves and there is justification in that. All the rest is a byproduct of the ongoing and constant conflict between Arabs and the Jews. And Yes most people who call themselves Palestinian are Arabs.

So it's justified to strip the undesirables of all of their rights, colonize all of their land, force them to live in ghettos (an apartheid society), then kill hundreds of innocent civilians when they decide to rebel. Sounds justified all right.
