How many independents or suburban women do you think will come to the light because of Tucker Carlson? No one is watching Tucker than doesn’t already believe/know what’s in the tapes.
Swing-voting demos have already been trained to believe that Tucker is rightist propaganda. He isn’t the messenger needed to tell this story. Exclusively giving it to him was a mistake. Would have been more effective if CNN was in a position of ignoring it while Tucker aired it. As things stand, now they can just ignore it as being fringe.

I guess my point is that without an actual functioning Free Press one could argue there's little to no hope. Legacy Media still holds all the perceived legitimacy, and given they are wholly in bed with The Left there is no scandal that can EVER rise to the level of being covered...which is why Biden is still in the WH or was elected in the first place when we all know that 15 years ago a scandal like the Hunter Laptop would have torpedoed ANY administration. Hell, Biden had to bail in '88 for plagiarism!
I agree that there is no convincing those that have swallowed the blue pill here, but the same could have been said for those that swallowed in it regards to Covid, masks, shots, etc. Continuing to be on "the right side of history" may have its own benefits, especially if you've already conceded that if you're waiting for main stream press to cover you honestly you'll be waiting forever.

Unless the alternative is true (that he's telling lies for views) then I'm not sure I care if his motives are ALSO ratings.

That's the thing...there's no one that could legit have done this story. See Matt Taibi and the Twitter Files. Dude's been a liberal his whole career and up until about 15 minutes ago was always seen as an honest broker. The minute he breaks rank, he's now a Putin puppet and shill for The Right.
Same with Glenn Greenwald. The issue isn't who broke these tapes, but that they were allowed to get out. And even if McCarthy had simply posted them all on line unedited (which would have never happened) the same people that lined up today to bitch about tucker would have bitched about that for entirely different reasons.

I think we are rapidly approaching some sort of reset/inflection point in our nations history due to a myriad of reasons.
Most suburban women aren’t voting on this topic either way, but evaluating this in terms of short term election results is to miss the larger picture.
The establishment seems to be pushing towards some sort of new era globalist setup and having irrefutable video evidence that can referenced to show they are post constitutional/rule of law has always mattered historically going back to the Magna Carta.
When the fiscal time bomb explodes at some point this new perspective on J6 will be weighed and evaluated along with other data points as to what should come next.
A sitting congresswoman just openly discussed secession and that hasn’t happened since the civil war era. Events like these push more towards the irreconcilable differences viewpoint.

No one delivered hard evidence of the fraud outside of the geolocation stuff in “mules” and the circumstantial evidence related to impossible vote dumps and possible malfeasance. The lawsuits filed by Giuliani and others looked like they were written by crazy people and discredited the stolen election viewpoint greatly.
If Tucker had been given hard evidence of exactly how the 2020 election was stolen that conversation would change dramatically as well.
Right now it’s still in the “I believe this happened” phase like many were with J6 before the video releases.

Hopefully once we learn to actually move forward instead of basing the entire party’s political strategy on past events, not many. But always only focusing on prior events will never work.

I think you are probably wrong. That's not how modern American culture generally works. I think that there is a moment in the future where even J6 Prog Fundamentalists know that it was a phony hoax orchestrated by The Dems and a few Bushi-lite Republicans. It happens only when there is a need to throw somebody under the bus, and it will be done by a Lefty reporter. And then Progs will pretend they knew this all along. Just like Covid eventually. They will acknowledge it, take credit for "breaking" the story and then move right on to the next hoax. From Muh Russians to Covid to J6...on and on it will go.
The beauty of being a Leftist is you never have to say you are sorry.
