Why is high speed rail necessary? People have other options. The money is better spent on border security.

The government can’t successfully run low speed Amtrack what makes you think they could successfully manage high speed rail? If you think Trump is going to support high speed rail then you don't know Trump.

High speed rail is a boondoggle these days. Robotic rideshare is already developing to the point where expensive rail service (beaucoup taxes) is failing to garner sufficient interest from the public.
