Agree.
Of the Muslim population in Iran between 10 - 25% of the population is Sunni with the remaining being Shia. However, CIA data from 15 years ago says it is 90-95% Shia.
Apparently only 40-55% of the population actually practices Islam.
Prior to 2003 Iraq was 60% Shia and 40% Sunni, and as we know the Sunni’s controlled the country.
I hope to God there isn’t an uncontrollable sectarian civil war preventing a functioning government.

Just my personal guess here, but Iran won’t be governed by a returning monarch. They are an educated people who will rebuild it themselves.
