Please explain how a Republican Christian makes any sense either

Ok I will bite. They defend life from conception to natural death. They stand for the biblical definition of marriage (even if not practiced properly). They work to make the lives of the less fortunate better as shown by charitable giving and actual works - not arguing for unchristian wealth redistribution programs where “Rome” decides winners and losers.

I could go on but I think you can get the point. Are republican policies perfectly Christian? No. Are they a hell of a lot more so than the Godless left? Yes.

What about starting giant wars, telling the poor to frick off, defending the wealthiest men, permitting bigotry, worshipping wealth in general? You got any of those Republican cornerstones in the Bible?

1) Tell us more about how its bad to pull out of Seria?
2) No body has told the poor to frick off. There are tons of charities in addition to the Church that help the poor. It is not the government's job. If you disagree, just point to the Constitutional Amendment that says otherwise.
3) There is nothing wrong with wealth. It is the worship of money that's the problem. Since you have a problem with it, explain how you support the wealthy democrats.

yeah, 'pubs beliefs definitely consistent with Jesus message of humility, caring for the least and lost, turning the other cheek, welcoming the stranger.

even more ironic is the idea of God's "faithful flock" being lead by the Orange Man to wall out the poors, cut taxes for the rich, demonize muslims.

lol. as the bible story of the great banquet goes, He told his servant to forget the entitled guest list and go into the back streets and alleyways of the town and invite “the poor, the crippled, the blind and the lame” (verse 21). Jesus ends the parable by relating the master’s determination that “not one of those men who were invited will get a taste of my banquet”

I think you're forgetting the part about being subjective to governments. May want to go back and read New Testament again.

You can’t be a Jew and be a Democrat either today with the anti-Semitic tone it has taken.

And I also know that you don't understand what our Saviour meant by this.

Even Satan knows the scriptures and uses them to his Advantage. I read that somewhere in the Bible too.

I don't think it's possible.

Does everyone remember just 5 or so years ago when liberals like 995 scoffed at other posters who feared Dems would eventually embrace late term, and even post birth abortions? Pepperidge Farm remembers.

Allowing successful people to keep more of the money they earn is worship of wealth?

Absolutely. When you do it at the expense of society, for sure. People on the right love to act like people earning over 10 million dollars a year are somehow being beaten to death with taxes and it's just ludicrous.

To make it in society you generally do it on the backs of others. Use schools paid for with taxes, roads paid for by taxes, various other services and you get the point because I'm not going to list them all. Many extremely wealthy people love to act like they do everything themselves which is silly.

I swear that every time I see a company move to a third world country, so they can pay employees under a dollar per day, are defended by middle-class to low-income right-wing voters because it must be the tax burden that was too high on them. As if they wouldn't have chosen to do the same thing anyway.

There is an estimated 4 to 5 trillion of US dollars, from the extremely wealthy us Americans, in offshore accounts. The taxes from such money would pay for the wall alone and much more. But I'm sure if you ask anyone who votes for right-wing politicians, they will quickly bust out their violin for those same wealthy people because the taxes must be too high.

I saw low-income right-wing people cheering Donald Trump on at a rally because he said "we have bigger boats than they do." Yes, your side is the most pro rich. For you to argue otherwise is laughable.

quote:

You believe it’s the governments and they should decide how much to let the person who created it keep.

I believe in society and I don't see how it's necessary to have a top 1% that's more Rich than the rest of the 99%. You can try to create some sympathy for these folksbut I am not with you.

quote:

You remind me of the first time I had a trial in tax court. The irs attorney said to me just before we stared :”your client’s problem is they think of it as if it is their money”. What a warped view.

It's even more warped to pretend like some of these rich men are an island and made all their money without the goods and services of others in a society that still needs infrastructure.

You're even more what I'm talking about. A kid who was born into wealth who never actually did anything for himself. I would love to hear you cry about taxes.

Like I said. Your jealousy is palpable. And why would I cry about taxes? We pay an accountant reallly good money to make sure we pay as little as possible.

But hey, heavyflow... no matter how much you hate the 1%, guess what baby cakes?

YOURE part of the 1% as well. You were lucky enough to be born in AMERICA. Congrats. You’re in the best country in the world. You could have been born in Iran, Somalia, China, Mongolia, Mexico, anywhere.

So, like I said. Congrats on being rich.

As a Christian I can't support either party. There are flaws with both.
