Arshavin to report to preseason training as normal. Zenit interest disappeared after his bust up with Russian fans.

Not a "transfer" but Bayern Munich have named Matthias Sammer as the club's new sporting director.

Jonathan Bornstein's on-again, off-again loan move to Atlante from Tigres UANL took another twist on Saturday when, following a friendly between the two teams, Atlante coach Ricardo La Volpe appeared to rule out the American joining.

“He's not coming,” La Volpe bluntly stated, adding, “We've worked on it, I consider him a great player and that's why we went for him, but if the directors think that he is expensive and couldn't sort out the contract situation, we will look to use the money for a player from abroad.”

Serie A experts: how do you expect Bradley to fit in at Roma? Is this a good move for him?

Our resident Italian expert WM72 thinks it's a definite positive, Roma's manager has a good track record of developing young talent and with his platoon style he will definitely see some good minutes, if not necessarily as many as he got at Chievo.

I'm certainly not a serie a expert but I have talked to our resident expert about roma and Bradley quite a bit on here and he seems to think it will be a great move. I do to fwiw. Bradley wouldn't go there unless if he wasn't sure that he would be given an opportunity to play. Roma has an exciting attack minded manager and the prospect of him lining up with DDR in the midfield for the next 5+ years is quite exciting.

Juventus have signed Asamoah and Isla from udinese. Good piece of business. Juve looks like they're gearing up to make a champions league run this year.

Wondering who is going to be their marquee striker signing... you know they want one...

I'd love it to be Cavani, so he doesnt come to EPL...

I'm not so sure Juve could afford him. I would love to see him in England tbh.

Apparently Michael Bradley's former teammate at Herenveen Danijel Pranjic will be joining everton on a free from bayern. Another good value signing by Moyes. Pranjic can play anywhere along the left side and at 31 should still have a few seasons left.
