Also whats the point in speding 18mil on Lukaku if he never has he chance to play, the guy is a physical beast wont have any problems adjusting to the physicality
He's physically mature. But he needs to learn to read the game through experience. Experience Chelsea can't afford to give him.

Liverpool are reported to have accepted West Ham's loan offer for England international striker Andy Carroll.
News breaking in the last few minutes via the BBC suggests that the Gateshead-born hitman is set to move to the Boleyn Ground for the entirety of the 2012/13 season after the Merseysiders agreed to accept United's £2million offer.
A further £17million will follow to make the deal permanent should West Ham retain their Premier League place - as reported here on KUMB.com last week.

Agger to Barcelona is a possibility?

Been a rumor for awhile, but I don't see it happening.

If he's going to be sold, I want it to be to Barcelona. But he won't leave. He loves Liverpool as much as Gerrard.

Pienaar back where he belongs
He's back! Steven Pienaar has completed his transfer from Spurs for £4.5m. He has signed a four-year deal at Goodison. Read more, including Steven's reaction to his return, here: LINK

In January 2011, both Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur had bids accepted to buy Pienaar from Everton before the South African joined Spurs for a fee of £3 million on a four-year contract

So basically Everton paid 1.5 million pounds to lose Pienaar for a year and a half. Nice.

Yeah sold him for 3, loaned him back this January for the remainder of the season, then buy him back for 4.5. Good business by Spurs.

AS Roma close to making official the purchase of LB Federico Balzaretti from Palermo for €4,5 million. He will sign on for 3 years.
Getting Balls-A-Ready is a fantastic move as he's one of the better LBs in Europe and will bridge the gap while our younger LBs like Dodo and Loic Nego mature. LB Jose Angel, who just really didn't seem quite up to par, will be sold (Benfica and Valencia seem possible destinations but Roma may have to take a bit of a loss on his €3 million purchase price to move him.)
Also, FWD Mattia Destro from Siena and RB Ivan Piris from Sao Paolo have been announced and the players have joined training. Piris will likely be a 2nd option at RB as the 2 remaining almost certain pieces of the market are an experienced RB and CB.

Per the Arsenal thread. Carzola in London for medical and finalization of the transfer from Malaga tomorrow. Big news for the Gunners.

Villarreal sold Borja Valero to Fiorentina
Posted on 8/1/12 at 11:00 am to Dandy Lion
I was just reading that. I've been interested to see where he'd end up.
Solid move for Fiorentina as Valero should prosper under Montella.
Fiorentina also announced their signing of Mati Fernandez for €3,5 million.

AC Milan and Real Madrid meeting in NY over Kaká
Spanish papers say Higuiain, for 45M Euros, is in Man City's sights as their plan B, if RvP isn't signed.
