Just tone it down. We get it, you love CFC and so do we. You arguing Lampard being better than Xavi and Lukaku being better than Cavani are ridiculous. Makes us look bad.

You can call me names or whatever but in his prime I honestly believe this to be true. Especially in terms of fitting in the EPL better. I think Xavi is a very good player but very one dimensional and overrated.

Never said this. I said previously that we haven't seen enough of Lukaku for you to dog him the way you do. After playing so much in the pre-season yes it's clear he's not ready. I have jokingly said Sturridge is better based on the last two days of Olympic competition but if you took that seriously you need to fix your sarcasm meter.

Moussa Dembélé is Real Madrid's plan B if the Modric saga goes sour.

Randy Savage to Nottingham Forest per Chelsea season long thread posters.

Lucas Moura to Inter according to goal.com
Spanish, Italian and English media have mentioned nothing definitive. I have not checked Brasilian.

I know none of these things matter to the soccer board but he, in his prime, was a better goal scorer, got more assists, better tackler (not that he's great at it but Xavi hasn't made one in his career), more physical and did so in a much more difficult league to sustain it in...

You have no fricking clue
Lampard could not run Barça's attack, and Xavi would be a major step down in the zenith of punt, run and where's that thar bus?, but would do much better than Lamps in Barcelona. FACT.
Lampard had two stellar seasons some time back, probably 2006 and 2007, that's it. Being able to complete a forward pass, errant or otherwise, until recently has been a major focal point of awe and admiration in the EPL. Lampard, right place, right time, and English.

Talk to me about soccer when you learn the basic rules of the game, you know, the things you learn in U-8.

Cute, we're talking about Torres, on par with Inzaghi for being offsides (although much quicker), and he was well over the midfield line IMO from the online television angle I had, once the ball had been punted and was in subsequent intergalactic orbit.
When I say 'well', I mean to say three to five yards. Was I wrong? Yes. Did I admit it? Yes. Did it suck? Yes. Does it still suck? Not as much.
'Tis what it is. Bho, you and a passelful of other posters on this board have no idea of football, have never played, and if so, were 'tuercebotas' at best, and spew your redneck hipster (genre does exist, is healthy and growing) BS at every turn.
I enjoy the EPL, and agree it is quite competitive (alot of punters, runners and inane tacklers make for quite a spectacle). But, you have no damned clue about technical football, never will, and this chaps your arse, hence your disdain and open hate.

Inter has been pursuing him pretty hard.
Maybe Sao Paolo finally came down a bit on the fee or maybe Moratti's just going on a spree with all Inter's new Chinese yuan.

Weak excuse.
As far as Frank goes everything I said is pretty indispuatably a fact, you may not value those skills as highly as what Xavi does but they are facts. Personally I want my center mids to be more versatile and think those types of players are more valuable, especially in the EPL.

Well we do have a working understanding of basic rules at least. Maybe you should spend more time learning the basics and less time searching the web for pics of your fellow Spanish fairies to come post on here.

LULZ, I've got 4 years head start on your U8 comment, try again. I insist, you, Bho and many others here are redneck sissy hipsters who because they wake up early Saturday and Sunday, think they're experts in football. Pretty fricking sad.
