Good call by Kuyt. Feyenoord, even though he is worshipped there, would be a step backwards. He's not that awful.
Kuyt is delusional. He needs to return to Feyenoord and retire somewhere he is loved.

Just because you want him to die in a fire, doesn't make it a good career move. Now that I say that, how DOES the 'Pool feel about Kuyt?

People on this board are confused and I'm not sure how. I've said this probably a dozen times but I'll say it again.
I don't hate Kuyt. I hate the way he has been utilized the past 2 seasons. He is NOT a starter and he is NOT a forward for a top half EPL side. I have always loved him as a 65th minute midfield sub. His energy and passion is unmatched and would be awesome to have late in a tight match.
Most Liverpool fans agree that his glory days are far behind him. He hasn't gotten many minutes this year (on statistically the worst LFC squad in decades) and there is a reason why. He rarely makes an impact on a game anymore.
With that said,
to his goals in the United and Carling Cup final matches this year.

He does have a lot of energy. I'm stunned we didn't see him in the FA Cup final for that exact reason. Dude provides a spark like no other.

I'm not shocked at all.

I remember at one point Cervi was #3 and some thought he'd become the #2 GK behind Howard.

He reacts really slowly. Also, for his size, he's not great at bossing his area.
In other Celtic goalie news, the rumored new contract offered to Fraser Forster (loanee from Newcastle) is 2 mill, 3-yr contract for 23k/wk.

Morning tidbits:
Dortmund reiterate "Kagawa will not sign a new deal"
Porto determined to keep Hulk
Also, old man Daniel Majstorovic is leaving Celtic on a free for AIK in Sweden.

Mainly because (A) he's walking wounded and (B) he sucks.

Marco Casetti will leave AS Roma this summer. He was a solid squad play and had a wonder goal to beat Lazio but most Roma will remember him for the greatest tackle of all-time:

Oh Italian soccer, where even the defenders go to ground and roll around.
But seriously, I can't stop watching that gif. Anyone have a video (with English commentary would be the tits)?

Fiorentina not willing to sell Jovetic
Chelsea had been rumored to be interested, but Fiorentina want to keep him.

yaya's agent saying he could leave city naming chelsea, munich, and barca as potential suitors. I seriously doubt he is going anywhere.
Posted on 5/16/12 at 11:19 am to puffulufogous
City doesn't win the title without Yaya. No way they let him go.
Posted on 5/16/12 at 11:23 am to puffulufogous
Alas, the problem with having a squad full of mercenaries. I'm shocked with some of the stuff Yaya has come out with just after winning the title. Agents are gonna be a huge problem for city

I'm hoping juventus make a move for Jovetic, vucinic is too hit or miss
