Llorente is world class but I do agree that Juve could add some dynamism that was missing last year with one of the strikers you list who are all probably a bit better with their movement.
I guess what I'm getting at is that if Juve sign one world class striker, a better Quagliarella type may make more sense than an upgrade on Matri.
However, Llorente would probably be a much safer signing than RVP due to his injury issues and age.
Make no mistake though, Llorente is great and would be a nightmare to deal with off the quality service he'll get from Pirlo, Isla, Lickweiner etc. . .
I would't look a gift horse in the mouth if you guys can get him.

I'm with you. If I were promised a world class striker I'd want someone who has done it on a bigger stage.

That's like saying I don't want Neymar because he's only won in Brazil.

If he can score the same 20+ goals a season he does in la lega, that's all this team needs
Just ready for Juve to return to pre-Calciopoli, of which they are so close. Just missing that elite striker

The Calcioscomesse hearings seem like they may not reveal as much of nightmare scenario for Juve as many thought.
It seems Antonio Conte could face a ban for the entire season. However, Leonardo Bonucci and Simone Pepe may end up being acquitted entirely.
Even with Lucio, Bonucci would be a hard piece to replace and Pepe is underrated insofar as his value to a club over a long season. He's not elite at any position but he's solid enough almost anywhere you plug him in.
If Conte faces the ban it will be interesting to see who Juve has replace him this year. I'm still guessing it will be an interim with Conte still practicing the squad so the basic tactics Juve's building the squad around remain intact.
I suppose Asamoah will spell Pirlo in league fixtures during CL?

Asamoah makes better coverage for Vidal, juve didn't find a full replacement for pirlo. It'll be interesting to see who covers for him or if they just ride that horse to it's death
As for conte, rumors are someone like nedved could fill in during games and conte would still be the mastermind in preparation
First the saints now Juventus to lose its coach gonna be an interesting season, verdicts come Thursday I believe
As for bonucci I'll be glad to see if he comes out clean, a 3 year band is deadly for someone just starting to prove his worth

Since I'm a fan of the Azzurri, I hope Juve uses Pirlo a bit more judiciously so maybe he can still be a factor in Brazil 2014.
Asamoah's certainly nowhere near Pirlo's level but could work with Vidal and Marchisio etc against mid to lower table sides.
Maybe there was something that I just missed but I've been surprised Juve's shown no interest in Pizarro since Roma's desperate to get his wages off the books and he seems only willing to go to really big club (he's turned down around 15 proposed transfers so far). Not saying he's still the same world class DLP of a few years back but he could seamlessly fit into the Pirlo role for 10+ fixtures. Maybe they think Asamoah can do it and it's certainly better prep for the future if he can?
Who else do you guys have in MF in that role?
Also agree that it will be welcome good news for Italian Calcio overall if Bonucci and Pepe are acquitted.

I just don't know, Vidal can do everything, maybe he can switch over and Asamoah takes his spot for games to rest pirlo. I feel like Juve has a wealth of players to cover the wings but still haven't focused on true coverage for Pirlo. Pirlo started the most games for Juventus last season no way he repeats that after a full euros
A lethal striker could see them capalize earlier in games and rest pirlo more... Pizarro would work but his name hasn't come up all summer
Cb/lb and a striker are the only two purchase options being passed around

Benfica's Belgian Axel Whitsel to Real Madrid, Coentrão supposedly returning to Portugal.
I find it hard to believe that Mourinho isn't capable of keeping Fabinho at RM.

Porto want £60mm for Hulk.... that is laughable, when Falcao went for like £32 one year prior...

When Terry starts flopping all over the field I won't want him either. But that would be the day...

It'd be pretty pathetic for a central defender to be a flopper.
I forgot we only determine character by a what a player does on the field. Forgive me.
