I'd take #3 over the FA Cup, but the double...Chelsea clearly had a more successful season. I still think we were better, but whatever.

Arsenal have had pretty terrible luck in the past couple of years. They used it all in the invincibles season. They've lost three cup finals each of which was lost near the end of the game. From 07 onwards, they've had good teams. Since 2010, they have been by some measure a better team than Chelsea, but now Chelsea has the luck (no matter how good Chelsea's d was against Barca, Barcalona was unusually profligate, wasting chances they usually finish. Part of Chelsea's performance is absolutly due to good fortune.) Chelsea this season should be really good, but RDM still has to prove himself over a season.

This. This is why a lot of people on the board don't like Chelsea fans. A legitimate criticism is leveled against their club for helping to F up the transfer market and inflate player prices and the best response they can give is the normal troll "LOL DURR YOUR TEAM CAN'T WIN GO CRY."

If you don't want to be treated like a crybaby don't act like one.

We have bought three players and the only one we probably overpaid for is Oscar. This "legitimate criticism" would have been appropriate back in like 2004/5.
Replacing an old squad we have spent $20m more than Arsenal but have bought a 20 year old, 21 year old, and 23 year old where Arsenal have bought a 25 year old and two 27 year olds. Thus, if these players pan out and stay with each club throughout their prime we will get far more for our money over the span of their respective careers.

You can't draw an imaginary line in the sand and say that the past doesn't count. Or that there's a statute of limitations on criticizing Chelsea and Abramovich, the originator of the current era we're in.

Well they do say imitation is the sincerest form of flattery.

Still not nearly as bad as Franco with his Real foam finger.

Major fail. Franco was a fan of Atlético de Madrid.
Change your tampon, there was no intent to attack Putin or Chelsea. I just think it a funny image or sight.

I'll admit it, I laughed.
Here's to them beating Chelski in the Super Cup.

No it's not.

A legitimate criticism
Because you agree with it? I could argue that spending the big money makes better teams and therefore, more enjoyable of a game to watch. But you are to busy whining about it to notice.
ETA:The only two people I troll on here, I know. I don't give anyone else shite. In fact, my friends like to give each other shite about their teams. Sorry I'm not in on the Arsenal circle jerk.

You seem to be arguing that it's not a legitimate criticism just because it's about your team. I like seeing exciting players in the league (Man City were fun to watch), but at the same time it screws over the teams that don't have the money to bankroll players whose salaries and transfer fees are now blown way out of proportion.
It's a legitimate criticism because it's a fact. Most people on the board (barring some Chelsea fans) would agree.

Ding ding ding.....by letting you see this, I have shown how because it's not your team, you consider it legitimate.

So because poor teams can't spend, big money clubs shouldn't?

Of course they would agree. Their team doesn't spend the money. You sound like a fricking Royals fan bitching about the Yankees.

Oh, and Llorente is now being linked to Chelsea again.

I disagree whole heartedly.
ETA: Parity wouldn't include Chelsea winning the UCL, would it?
