A secondhand source who met/hung out with Rio Ferdinand at his book signing the other day said Rio told him he thinks Rooney is "probably leaving."

I'm back.
Just spent three weeks on vacation in Sardegna without internet or really even telephone. It was wonderful and all the better that I wasn't on the edge of my seat sweating out this destiny changing Gervinho transfer.

Anyone know anything about what defender(s) Barca is going after?
Its been reported that they expect to bolster the back 4 but I haven't really seen much talk (beyond the cursory David Luiz talk) about who that may be? There was mention of a Newells Old Boys defender that Tata may want, but not sure who it is.
