Well Markovic is still young and I don't expect him to start every game. Lallana can play out wide or in a midfield role so he'd be pretty flexible.

Outside of them, only true winger we have is Sterling with Coutinho and Borini who could play out wide if they need.

A few twitter transfer accounts are reporting Liverpool is trying to hijack the Vidal transfer.

Top 4 spenders right now

Chelsea 63 million
United 59 million
Liverpool 58 million
Arsenal 35 million

City once all these pending buys go through should jump Arsenal.

What do the net numbers look like?\

ETA: 20m for a 28 year old left back squad player when we could have just kept Ashley Cole for another year or spent a few more million and signed a player 10 years younger in Luke Shaw....

Good work guys really, you just keep knocking them out of the park.

Jose isn't going to be around long enough for Shaw to be a top LB, Luis gives him arguably the best LB in the league next season... He wants to win now...

We have the best combo of fullbacks in the league easily, 20m on a 28 year old at that position makes zero sense.

Not lately.

Cesc and Matic were the only significant ones I haven't hated since Jose came back and I still thought we paid too much for Matic at the time.

Seriously though 20m for a left back who will be 29 when the season starts when our current left back was just voted player of the year and his backup was a club legend who is barely older than what we are bringing in. It's just ridiculous.

I Gotcha. Well it could be worse, you could literally not have a left back on your entire roster.

as far as I know, it's stuck at the same spot it's been for a couple of days: SK's wages. hopefully they resolve that.

you see the vid of poldi?
