Seems as though the Edin Dzeko to Roma move is finally happening.
Seems the final fee is around £15m. Probably a bit high considering Dzeko pushed so hard for the move to be with his little buddy Pjanic and rejected any other offers but it's not my money.

It seems Sabatini will pay a good price for any player other than fullbacks.
Roma press is melting down over the current €18m bid for Gerson (who would have to be loaned for a season and probably not near ready anyway) when there's no LB.
That said, I'm sure at least 2 will be bought before the market closes and maybe 3. I tend to see the large Gerson bid as indication that funds aren't really the big issue but Sabatini is certainly frugal.
Perhaps Digne from PSG and Peres from Torino and I wouldn't be shocked to see Torosidis sold and a Italian FB in his place (backup at either LB/RB) due to quota.

Real Madrid have signed Jesus Vallejo from Zaragoza, but will loan him back to Zaragoza for the season.

Yeah he was very highly regarded in France. He debuted for the national team at 20 years old and was on their Euro 2012 team. He later got banned from the NT for over a year and hasn't been recalled since. He also hasn't played competitively in a while as he's technically still a Rubin Kazan player, but they were trying to offload him to Dynamo Moscow in a move that has fallen through, hence his switch to Sunderland.

Derk Boerrigter will be sold to someone by the end of the window apparently.
Definitely one of those wtf signings. Decent enough at Ajax, but the guy's only been fit for about 3 weeks since he signed for Celtic in 2013.

Eh, I don't believe any rumors related to Spurs these days. The one I saw had Bender, Timo Werner from Stuttgart and a third player from the Bundesliga.

For years, in Italian papers, Spurs have generated more completely bogus transfer rumors than almost every other club combined. Never been sure why it's the case but they seem the "go to" link when some journalists needs a headline or an agent wants to create some buzz.

I believe it. I've learned very quickly not believe any rumors until after they're confirmed.
