I would have slapped someone two years ago if they told me Shaqiri would be at Stoke in 2015.

This is Sky's fault. Bastards.

Sky is reporting that Chelsea is nearing a deal with Augsburg LB Baba Rahman.

That's been going on for a few weeks.

It's amazing how much his value has jumped since January.

Yeah they were also ready to accept a €5m offer last summer and now it's €25m.

don't know if I like this, I would rather him (Romagnoli) way more than Mapou Yanga-Mbiwa.

That's a bunch of money for a kid but I would rather keep him and wish we would have kept Marquinhos too. that would be a great duo for the future

how is he doing for PSG?

I believe Roma are selling Yanga-Mbiwa too.

We're going to sign a very high profile CB.
(along with another younger CB as 4th choice).

I think we're getting LB Digne from PSG, RB Peres from Torino.

We're sending Doumbia to CSKA then China. Sending Destro to Bologna. Maybe more players out.

Roma's mercato is just getting warmed up.

There's going to be a couple of big moves to come. Don't think Dzeko will end up being the headline move this summer.

I wouldn't be absolutely shocked to see Marquinhos back at Roma.

West Brom get Salomon Rondon from Zenit for club record £12 million.

I really like Rondon, but he had fallen out of Zenit's Starting XI with the signing of Artem Dzyuba, so I'm glad he gets a chance in England.

If Doumbia still has even a little left in the tank, this could be good for CSKA. He was such a beast for awhile. Sorry it didn't work out in Rome.

It's incredible, really. Stoke are actually starting to look like and play like a football team. Credit to Mark Hughes

Why would a player consider Scottish league when EPL is on the table.

Because outside of the top 2/3, the EPL is shite. It just has more money and media attention.

I think he's still fine but had the rough start in Rome (coming with some back injury after Africa Cup) that didn't do much to endear him fans and added to the pressure in what's already one of the more difficult clubs in the world.

He seems healthy now but really doesn't seem to click with the rest of the attack. He did score a couple of big goals that we not have finished 2nd without.

The deal is kind of off though. Seems a Chinese club will ultimately buy him for €15m but since their market window is already closed he'll go to CSKA until winter break.

BBC Sport
Spanish goalkeeper David De Gea is expected to remain at Manchester United beyond the end of the transfer window.
De Gea, 24, missed Saturday's win over Tottenham because manager Louis van Gaal thinks his concentration has been affected by interest from Real Madrid.
United continue to insist they will only sell for a world record fee for a goalkeeper or if Real's Spain defender Sergio Ramos, 29, comes the other way.
And club officials are not expecting either to happen before 1 September.

Taking this as truth, do you see him being sold in January or will ManU just let him go on a free next summer?
