Liverpool are facing up to losing another young striker with Jerome Sinclair stalling on a new deal.
The 18-year-old is highly rated at Anfield and broke into the first team towards the end of last season, but he is set to follow Raheem Sterling out of the exit door.
Sinclair has turned down a new deal, and Liverpool look set to cash in on the youngster who only has a year left on his current contract.

Man U is the same as everyone else. Everyone is in the same game. Let's stop pretending Man U is any different.

or they still buy English players.
Thats been their way of operating for years. Use youth/english players along with foreign stars.
Even this window our HG numbers are not going down bc its one in one out with non English players.

SCH,
I find it really difficult to believe that United's youth academy is still as prestigious as it once was, especially since Neville, Van Persie and Darren Fletcher all sent their children to train at City's academy instead of their own club's......
I'm not saying United's academy sucks or will stop generating players, but to say that City's isn't superior at this exact moment is just a farce.
If for some reason you don't think so, here's this, even the media has taken notice. It's not an opinion anymore about who has a superior environment for youth players at this point, obviously it takes time, but soon City will soon begin pumping them out.

It was because their kids were not good enough
yes its still the top tier in the country the results still prove it.

City's academy is not superior, it looks better but in terms of quality of players no it is not better. Did you forget the arse whooping United youth teams put on City this year in just about every age group they played in.
The issue lies with youth development as a whole in England, but it seems ffp HG reqs have forced everyone's hand in a good way. But that article saying United are left behind in youth development is just nonsense.
U-21 league winners this year and 2nd place last year and won it the year before. The teams in the younger levels are doing very well also
Im very excited to see how the younger age group does in the youth champions league.

Actually we don't operate like City does
The last two summers you have been. The difference is Man U is making their money from commercial deals which they have to because their owners used a leveraged buyout to saddle the club with massive amounts of debt (which is exactly the type of stuff that has destroyed clubs in the past, way more so than billionaire owners being dicks) while City have used their owner to subsidize their team building. The end result is the same. Let's not pretend there is an ethical difference between two giant clubs spending a quarter of a billion dollars on football players. It all amounts to the same thing.

Clearly the roster needed an overhaul but still we have our youth players and english players in the mix.

thats fine but you make an outlandish statement that City has a superior academy than United.
But results on the field say otherwise. Sure it looks amazing and City has invested heavy in youth since 2008 but nothing has been produced.
City went around Europe buying the best 16-18 year olds from other European academies to play catch up and that experiment fell flat on its face. With no first teamers and most have now moved on to find first team football.
City came in second to last in the U-18's EPL and 5th in the U-21 league. They did well making it to the last 8 of the uefa youth league and the youth fa cup final but they were smashed by Chelsea.
