Nice. Hope you were able to snag them on sale. No one should ever pay full retail for soccer cleats.
I think the Superfly will hold up better than the Hypervenom. The Superfly has a more rigid knit upper that will soften up after a couple practices. The Hypervenom I recall being a pretty soft upper out of the box, it also was double layered which likely led to them busting quicker.
ETA: and as good as I know Copa’s to be, could never bring myself to get a pair. If getting k leather, I scout eBay for older Diadora models. Otherwise I rotate Puma Future 18.1 and New Balance Tekela 1.0. Pumas are my go to right now though.

I still wear my Neymar Hypervenoms. It’s luck of the draw with this Chinese shite baw.

Got them off of GOAT. Size 10, just couldn’t find that all black anywhere else.
He keeps all of his boots...hope he makes some amazing memories in these.

I think if I pitched it to him as a small sided boot he may appreciate them. For football and soccer games he’ll wear the Superfly.
Soccer practice is more about control and quick possessions, surely the Copa would be better and softer. That’s how you ultimately make the field. Small sided play is king.

Think those will last at least another match. Contact Nike, they may replace them even though not purchased from them.
No clue what other cleats to try that are durable and similar in fit/feel to the Hypervenom and Superfly. I can only give my own anecdotal evidence, but my Puma Future 18.1’s have held up really well. I play on turf and weigh around 165. I also had a pair of Future 19.1’s that busted though they were half a size small.
If you want to drop the coin, could look at something like a made in Japan Mizuno Rebelua or Morelia Neo. Thin k-leather, speed boot fit, probably the best quality on the market.

If you can find a pair of Patrick boots, you’ll never buy another kind. If not Diadora is your answer.

SR4U on YouTube is a good source for cleat reviews as well.

Their website refers to purchases from authorized dealers...in customer service inquiries.
At this point though, he’s destroying cleats in a month of use. I’m not sure what to do.
Yesterday he had football practice from 3:30-5:30, soccer from 6:00-7:30...it may just be too much for this type of boot.

Do they do torture tests, I didn’t see that. Initial quality isn’t what I’m worried about.
I, obviously, have to make a brand jump, though he LOVES these boots. I’ll put him on that site to see what he comes up with.
