If Santi stays healthy, you will all fall in love with him. This is a damned good get for Arsenal.

Wilshere I thought was a box to box, not a true out and out AM?

Nah he is an att mid. Been so throughout his youth all the way to the first team. Last year Wenger played him further back as a learning experience to round out his game.

wouldn't mind Ox playing AM, I feel he needs to get a good amount of minutes, plus he loves to press forward and attack. Dribble players, take shots from distance, he's just threatening.

I totally agree with you 100%. It is where he will end up playing and probably soon.

I think we should eventually move to more of a 4-3-3. Have a cdm sit deep and let Jack and Ox run the midfield. Kind of the same set up Barca runs.

There isn't a name on it.

They also have a training kit in M.

ETA: the jersey is the maroon one

I've made this comparison before, and I don't know why i haven't seen anyone else say it, but the Ox reminds me a lot of Rooney. Could definitely see him as a striker. I believe that may even be what Wenger has planned for his future...

Looks like the always injured Thomas Rosicky is out again. This time for 2 months. LINK When healthy and on form he is a joy to watch. Too bad that is once in a blue moon. Surely this adds pressure for Wenger to buy another creative mid with all of our injuries in the midfield.

Young Guns says Coquelin has two weeks to show Arsene he can be Song's replacement (since he's been playing more advanced lately). If not, we will look elsewhere at DM. LINK

Regardless of his injury we need another AM anyway. I think even taking into account who we have on the roster we still need to get someone better than them anyway.

Plus Rosicky is always injured, Ramsey isn't good enough, and who know when Wilshere will be back, or if Wenger will even play Ox there or keep him out wide.

This is very interesting. I rate Coquelin highly but I still think if Wenger is going to move Song up the field on a permanent basis we should still at least look into another true def mid. Our problem right now is we have almost all box to box mids. I'm not sure Coquelin isn't in the same mold also.

Rosicky out two months if anyone missed that.

Next friendly is tomorrow versus MCFC. I definitely like the strategy that we're taking cultivating the emerging Asian market. As much as I'd love arsenal coming to play some games in the US, financially it's a way better decision to be in Asia. We're growing quite the following over there.

Liverpool came to Thailand while I was visiting there and it was HUGE news. I imagine Arsenal gets similar press.

I think they beat the Thai national team 5-1 or something like taht.

No US TV as far as i know. Arsenal player is streaming it, but that costs. Probably some streams elsewhere online because it is on espn in the UK.
