I'm confident USA will get Zelalem. He seems to identify as American, if that makes sense, and he could play in the next WC if he goes RWB.

Yeah, could be an agent's tactics, could be true. Who knows? The guy flat out said 'no discussions with Arsenal,' but I'm pretty sure that's untrue, so we know he's not being completely honest.
Khedira may not be the best fit for what we need, regardless. As long as we get quality there I'll be pleased, although a pairing of Arteta and Ramsey may be enough with what we'll have in front of them. Depth will still be an issue.

Yea Khedira's agent seems to be the stereotype of the scummy slimeball agent who probably cares more about his own fees than the well-being of his client. Hopefully arsenal put our offer on the table and say "If you want to sign for this you're welcome here, but in the meantime we're going after other guys and when we got one this offer is gone."

I think there were negotiations, they realize he's not going to get the deal he wants. They then say oh, we never spoke to Arsenal. Just an agent ploy like here in the US fishing for more money. I just don't see this one happening any more. Oh well, doesn't mean we won't get a central midfielder. And besides gk, I still think cb is a more glaring hole as far as starting the season off. But eventually we need a replacement for arteta.

i think he may. hard to know. i know that he thinks wilshere's future is deeper. a much discussed theme last year of how he and rambo could pair. i think it's very possible, though less possible as long as we keep per.

I keep bitching about it on here, but the skin tight shirts just bug the shite out of me. They look like that Nike college basketball style where the jerseys are tight but they wear shorts to their shins. Even though these shorts are smaller, the jerseys are that much tighter.
