Looks like Wenger is going with the lineup that helped us go on that great run in the second half of last season.

Whew. Nice to get the road win. That was tense all the way through.

Coq is going to have to settle down.

Right now, I have the same uneasy feeling about Cech as I did about Woj, but I believe he's rounding into form.

We needed that three. A draw would have felt like a loss.

Much sharper going forward toady. I thought Ramsey being out wide worked much better than Cazorla. Defensively there is still room for improvement. Again today we failed to close down shots coming from right outside the box. That needs to be corrected. Not our best performance but we got the three points and that is the most important thing.

Giroud gets a lot of crap for his finishing (he's earned a lot of it). Got to give a tip of the cap for that first goal. Just a sick finish to even get that on goal, much less score.

Finishes like that are what we'll need to take the next step against the top teams. Hopefully a couple of nice goals like that will build his confidence going forward.

I'm all for building Giroud's confidence and he is a battler.

I'd still rather have a world-class clinical striker.

went to the match, such a treat to see ozil play like he did yesterday. Santi needs to stay in the deeper role, he just gets the ball forward so much quicker than anyone else on the team. good on Wenger.

From where? like it or not, Giroud is what we got, and when he gets service, he scores. unlike west ham when he was picking the ball up on the flank and sending crosses into no one attacking it. that's not his fault.

Great deal. Ozil was great yesterday. 54 of 55 passes!!

Ozil was phenomenal yesterday. Just brilliant to watch.

Coq was good when he wasn't losing his shite.

Bellerin's runs make it possible for us to play a tucked in Ramsey. Thought our balance was back.

Yes, we were lucky Wickham hit the post, but we were unlucky on Alexis' chance cleared off the line.

I'd like our midfield to be more clinical near goal. Ramsey, Cazorla, Ox, all had chances. Even Giroud had a couple, and though his goal was outstanding, I feel as if sometimes he scores a goal and becomes content with his scoring for the day. It's why I feel he doesn't get many braces or hat tricks.

All in all, Selhurst is a tough place to play, and Palace have a lot of quality. I thought they were incredible defensively blocking shots and crosses. We broke them down frequently, but they managed to block shots and service.

Not the best performance, but certainly not the worst. Plenty of good signs, and three key points.

I was very impressed with Arteta yesterday, he really brought composure to the side and helped see the game out. If he can regain that 2011 form, he would be a perfect late sub for Coq to help close tight games like yesterday.

I agree. Maybe there will be games where we can start Arteta and bring in Coq to close the game out. Coq made me very nervous yesterday.

I really believe Zelelam will make it at Arsenal. He has the quality and just needs to develop physically. Very excited that he is playing for the US. He will give us the technical ability we are lacking.

A good analysis of the positioning of Ramsey and Cazorla provided by Jamie Carragher and Gary Nevile. LINK
