Asensio is the future of Real. When I was at the Bernabeu in September, only Ronaldo and Ramos had more jerseys in the stands.

Ribbery is giving me heart attacks right now, he has blown so many close chances. Our defense has look porous today.

Real played much better today...effort was there, unlike with us. Ribs was great, even missing opportunities. Thiago & Müller have had better days, and Rafinha fricked up big time. Missed Alaba today.

RM played smart and contained. Very impressed with Zidane.

He deals with pressure better than just about anyone. At least it’s a manageable result in the return leg. 1-3 would have been tough

He knows the game better than anyone. He was a football rat, with the gift, but hard working and QUIET. He's seen it all, has done it all, and commands respect. He reads matches well, and isn't afraid to bet.

Heynckes is a great gaffer, but left Madrid because he lost control of the clubhouse.

Zidane reads the group like nobody.

Zizou just doing Zizou things. Except for the head butt this cat just showed out like no other when I really started watching the game. Remember as an American not believing that Materazzi was lauded for what looked to be such a chicken shite move. Of course later realized he was just being himself and the only down side was that Zidane didn’t kick him square in the nuts l, but I guess that would have been frowned upon also.??

Anybody else think the second leg is gonna be really good?! I just have a feeling Bayern is gonna show up big.

Last year in the quarterfinal second leg the Madrid-Bayern game was amazing, don’t see this being any different. Bayern won’t be scared to play in Madrid, so I expect them to come out guns blazing like Juventus did two weeks ago.

It should be a good one. Bayern had some chances (looking at you Ribery), but thought RM back line was organized.

And Asensio is pretty good at soccer.

Have faith that we’ll compete for a spot in the final, but most of us are simply thankful for Jupp stepping into a shitty situation and bringing Bayern to the brink of another treble.

In October, zero trophies looked likely. The fact that three are still possible is a credit to the Deutsch GOAT

Is that why Bradley is back there?

Guess I'll just watch something else, this could get ugly.
