How many Bundesliga teams can say that?2? Maybe 3 depending on the spending of red bull?
There's a few. Hertha, Schalke, Gladbach, and Leverkusen.

This year? No.
yes those 00s results for Man U are really applicable to Pulisic's 18 year old year
frick i mean Arsenal had the invincibles in the 90s. CP's argument is invalid

that's not really how the Bundesliga works
outside of BM, the Bundesliga typically buys young talent or develops its own

Ok guys. I was wrong.
There have never been 10 players ,at age 18, on a better path than CP.
I think the premise is, list the 10 best players in the world and tell us how many were better than CP at 18. All of them were not, thus making being a top 10 player one day an attainable goal.
Highly debatable list but a good baseline (only listing attackers)
Messi
Ronaldo
Lewandowski
Aubamayeng
Neymar
Muller
Hazard
Sanchez
Suarez
Bale
Bale made 12 total appearances for spurs at this age, so there's one. All of those guys were not better than Pulisic at the same age. He has a feel for the game well beyond his years, fearlessness, and rapid pace. All of those things should theoretically only improve with age and playing time. He's only going to get bigger. I'm not sure how you can say it's unreasonable that he could be a top 10 player in the world one day. In the 18-20 age group he is on the younger end and already a top 20 player in that group.

I admit im probably looking at players at age 20 and 21 and then basing their play at 18 on those things. I just find it hard to believe no 10 players have ever been on a better path at path at age 18 than CP.
Well damn dude you could have just admitted that you never watched any of those players at 18 and saved everyone this discussion.

Since 2008 2 different PL teams have won the CL.
Since 1997 1 Bundesliga team has won the CL.
In the last decade, Serie A, PL,and la liga have had multiple CL winners. Its been 20 years since any Bundesliga team besides BM won the champions league.

I admit I made some bad choices and probably used what played were doing by age 20 or 21 and acted like they were doing it age 18.
That's what we've been saying. At 18, it's hard to find 10 current players that were more accomplished.

I did. Thats why I got more than most right.
Messi,Ronaldo7,ronaldo,alli,and tielemans were on a better path at 18 than CP.

So you watched a lot of League One 2-3 years ago? How much of the Jupiler league did you watch?

The only people on the planet that think CP will be a top 10 player in the world are Americans. Good god. He is a great player with great touch but come the hell on.

Bayern played Dortmund in the final just a few years ago.
Posted on 3/27/17 at 8:38 am to Rickdaddy4188
How was Alli in the English third division and Tielemans in the Belgian first division on a better path at 18 than a key contributor to the 3rd place team in the Bundesliga that's in the quarterfinals of the champions league?
Posted on 3/27/17 at 8:38 am to Rickdaddy4188
Nothing wrong with saying he has, at this point in his career, shown his potential to be in that elite class. You have done nothing in this thread to convince anyone that this is not at least a possibility.

What?
He's rated as a top 10 player in his age group by every publication in Europe

How?
We are all arguing with a guy who admits he never watched any of these players at Christian Pulisic's age and is just assuming that they were better than Pulisic. Because of this there is no possible way Pulisic will be able to be a top 10 player one day.
That's literally his argument. He's reaching TN levels of full retard at this point and I'm not sure why we even bother trying to use logic and reason with him.

Tielemans was in CL at age 16.

Full retard is saying there isnt 10 players that were on a better path at age 18 than CP. Thats full retard.
I'm sorry you dont understand soccer at the basic level.
Its telling that the only people saying CP can be a top 10 player in the world are Americans. Its telling that the only people acting like he is on an unheard of path at 18 is Americans.
Sorry you went full retard.

Less than ten of the players you named were on a better trajectory at this age. Jesus man how dense are you? All you can resort to at this point is saying "no way brah ur dum u don't understand soccer."
It's not convincing in the slightest.
No one is saying he's on an unheard of career trajectory. And you keep saying that no one outside of Americans thinks he has he potential to be a top 10 player but have no evidence to support that claim. Several people in this thread have already shown that European scouts and pundits salivate over this kid.

By default. He made 4 appearances and scored 0 goals as a 16 year old in the CL playing for a side that doesn't approach BvB. There are Israeli and Danish and Norwegian sides that play CL too, just getting there as the winner of some shite league isn't really some huge accomplishment that means you as a player are destined for greatness. It's not the same as say, contributing and scoring goals for BvB. As an 18 year old, Tielmans played for Anderlecht in CL and they got knocked out in the group stage. They got knocked out of EL in the round of 32 and finished 3rd in Belgium. He went goalless in 8 European matches that year. Still waiting for you to make a valid case for him

Ok but that's just this generation. I'm also most definitely forgetting or unaware of other players at age 18 on a better path.
To sit here and say there haven't been 10 players on a better path is full retard. I admitted some of my list wasnt right. It was off the top of my head.
Please show me all these articles saying CP is on some unheard of path at 18. Is is a great player and one of the best young players in the world but there have been dozens of players on abteer trajectory at age 18 than CP.
To say otherwise just proves soccer ignorance.
