That’s a high boot anywhere else on the pitch. Dunno if that sort of foul is a free kick in the box or a penalty

Lmao, that’s not the rule. You don’t have to break the guys nose to have that as a dangerous play. Dunno how that’s supposed to be given, but simply nothing and giving the ball back to psg doesn’t seem like the right call

At almost every other level, that is an IFK for playing in a dangerous manner.

That’s kinda what I thought. Never seen it have to be contact for it to be a penalty, maybe he couldn’t overturn a non contact call?

All DFKs involve some sort of contact so it couldn’t ever be a DFK looking at the replay.
At the professional level I can’t recall the last PIADM I saw whistled. Their skill level is so high that it’s assumed by officials they all know what they are doing.

My son & I were there. It was a home game for Real Madrid.
Was hot though... Wished it was a night game
