He hasn’t announced his retirement. He wanted to play another year there. He is leaving Bayern though.

Bayern cruise to a 10-0 win with a hat trick by Musiala and a brace by Mueller.

Curious to see this upcoming match, Seattle has more talent than a lot of other MLS clubs but their results definitely don’t reflect that. Botafogo doesn’t seem to be as good as they were last year but still one of the elites of Brazil.

A lot of lopsided games.

Tourney is a joke.

TNT calling all or most of these matches from studio? Pretty sure the same guys on the call Saturday night in Miami were calling the Rose Bowl game the next afternoon.

Mate have we any early word regarding the performance of the natural grass pitch that has been temporarily installed on FC Atlanta's home ground for this global event?

There’s been 2 lopsided match and one involved a European power getting beat by the best team in the world.

Tourney has been good if your are a fan of the sport. It has been great seeing teams from other leagues. I’ve been hearing all this hype regarding Estevao & Mastantuono so it will be good seeing them vs some elite teams.

It’s been ok, seems the South American sides are taking it the most serious

MLS is in mid season and should in theory be peaking for these matches

The European teams are basically treating it like a post season tour. I’m sure in the knockout stage they will take it more serious.

All teams seem to be taking it serious. Now it does seem like the fans of the European teams did not travel for this.

European season just ended. It’s barely been a break for them especially when most of them went straight to playing for their national teams.

What are y’all watching to even say this.
Bayern & PSG were dominant. Hell, Harry Kane was pissed out there he wasn’t getting service to score.

Porto aren’t some world beaters.

Chelsea looked like the Chelsea I watched all year.

Benfica looks solid right now. They just aren’t fully clicking in the final third. Not sure why they didn’t start Akturkoglu. He makes things things click for them.

I was at the game and it seemed to hold up pretty well. No noticeable issues with it.

Good sign for next year IMO.

And they are exhausted 50+ games for tons of them and play the euros last summer. Thats why some of the squads are not full strength. They players bitched about this tournament over a year ago.

What did you expect Bayern to do vs basically a semi professional side. PSG just won the Champions League and those dudes are tired.

Chelsea doesn’t have a full strength squad and did what they should vs a MLS side

These are world class athletes. So they weren’t exhausted last week when they were playing for their national teams but they are this week? This sounds like weak excuses for someone who is just trying to find a way to hate the tournament. All the teams are at full strength outside of some injuries. Teams didn’t just leave players at home because of rest.
Man City added Cherki
Madrid added Trent
Chelsea added Delap/Santos.
These teams came here to compete and it has shown in their efforts so far.

They went out there and tried to dominate. They knew who they were playing, if they needed the rest, they could have played a youth squad. Bayern lost to a low division team in the Pokal just the year before last. They know better than to play around. Just watch Harry Kanes actions that match. He wanted that goal.

They definitely didn’t play like it. They are a young team. Enrique did a lot of rotation down the stretch also. A break will be needed after this tourney.

And who is Chelsea supposedly missing?
This is their normal squad with offseason adds. They also didn’t play champions league or Europa. They played of bunch of their young squad in Conference league and is probably the deepest team in the world.
