Arshavin has been looking very good since coming on. Much better than his recent form.

Thought you were playing Sunderland? Beating Sunderland actually helps LFC.

So how was the match, I could only track the last 35 minutes or so on gamecast. Was not pleased to see we were behind for more than a half.

Can't expect a Chelsea fan to know that.

2 observations from MUFC vs AVFC -

Brad Friedel is a god
Liverpool not spending 20 million on Ashley Young was very wise.

This final score should have been alot worse than it was. Friedel did a good job.

I was referring to the wishes of 15-0 earlier in the thread. Don't expect Hendo to actually read them.

a draw would've been best for lfc but whatever.

Friedel is a stud, but so is Howard.

I really love watching Nani play now. He's outstanding and miles better than he's been in the past. I don't think he's far away from becoming one of the best players on the planet.

Anelka was a beast today and I wonder what the thinking was to have him drop so deep? Maybe they want him paired with Torres. It worked though.

Arsenal started out slow. Acted like the game was supposed to start 15 minutes later. After the first 15 Arsenal was on the front foot for most of the way. Everton played well, but their only goal was miles offsides. Fabregas missed two goal-scoring opportunities in the 1st and van Persie had a nice chance but Howard came out very well. Everton had a nice chance later in the half, but Szcezny made a nice save. Fellaini was very disruptive in the middle of the pitch.

Song came off at HT (thigh injury) and Diaby came on. Started off the 2nd half with loads of possession, no great chance. Arshavin came on for Rosicky, then Bendtner for Wilshere. Fab played a lofted ball and the CB couldn't do much with it and Arshavin volleyed it in well.

Kos' goal came off a corner from RvP which had quite a bit of swing.

Everton played well, but I think overall Arsenal deserved to come out on top.
