I can’t believe they showed as much as they did.

Hoping that is indeed true. That was terrifying to watch in real time. Hope he pulls through.

Yep

Also

Denmark's players had to form a protective ring around their teammate. A distraught wife was broadcast to the world. TV broadcasters and cameramen are capable of blocking footage of pitch invaders, but not this? Sorry, that is not ok.

I was in tears - most terrifying thing I’ve seen in a long time.

Mixed feelings, but if you can get proof that he's alive, awake, and has some movement as he's leaving the field, then I think you have to get it out there.

He seized because of a lack of oxygen to the brain. His heart went into something called ventricular fibrillation.

There are a few common causes of this in a young athlete. Hypertrophic cardiomyopathy (Hank Gathers), anomalous coronary artery (what killed pistol Pete), long QT syndrome, Brugada syndrome, Arrhythmogenic Right Ventricular Dysplasia, and some random other stuff.

You really expect players to be able to focus on a game minutes after seeing their friend collapse and almost die?

Because the team literally saw their teammate almost die.

I saw a guy die on the field at Silverbacks a few years ago.
