Russia's mistakes at the back are pretty inexcusable, especially given their opponent.

It was pretty ignorant on his part. Yeah we all assume it’s the heart, but you don’t know for sure and you certainly don’t pretend to know on national television.

The 64-year-old was also quick to dismiss the notion that Eriksen had been struck by Covid-19, while adding that he and Inter were not at liberty to provide further details unless Denmark's medical team did so first. “He did not have Covid and was not vaccinated either," Marotta added. As someone who works in the medical field I have to commend the medical team. They did their job efficiently and under incredible circumstances and achieved the best result possible.

Danish coach

Inter CEO

Here are the links. I know goal.com isn’t held in high regard but this is a direct quote and not the transfer bullshite they are intentionally vague on.

Antoinio Puerta, Marc Vivian Foe, Sergei Grinkov, Reggie Lewis, and Hank Gathers were all world class athletes who died in their 20s from heart disease.

I’m very glad Christian Eriksen didn’t join the list today
