Man that was an insane stoppage time! Georgia should’ve scored twice after their keeper made an incredible save. And then Turkey gets the empty netter. Might be the game of the tournament so far. And those first two goals by Turkey were all class like Matt McMahon’s family.

Haven't watched much of Ronaldo but hoping for some more magic today
Side note: Is Tom Rinaldi ever covered soccer previously?

Pepe is still playing football? That dude lost his hair when Herbert Hoover was in the White House.

Are all the games in one of the Spanish channels?
They used to have everything on.

What's odd is that his baldness is by choice.
He had that random run in 2019 and 2022 where he was rocking a full head of hair after years of being bald... only to have since gone back to being bald.

I think Vix has the Spanish language rights for the Tournament

Pretty sure it happened years ago, it just took awhile for people to adopt it regularly. Like old people still call it Memphis state, for example.

I had no idea that they updated their name either but always good to learn something new everyday, like Turkey being spelled Turkiye.

Geography does that every once in a while - following international soccer keeps you more current with that stuff than most people

In 2022, the American AP Stylebook stated in its entry on the country that "Czechia, the Czech Republic. Both are acceptable. The shorter name Czechia is preferred by the Czech government. If using Czechia, clarify in the story that the country is more widely known in English as the Czech Republic."
Prague is the best city in the world though
