Yo Mamma So Fat..............she plays pool with the planets.

She steps on a scale and it reads, "one at a time, please."
Never heard this one before and lol. Well done.
You mean 2 of the most insufferable people on the planet couldn't maintain a healthy relationship? How can there ever be any hope for the rest of us :wah:

A pre-requisite of serving in congress has to be common sense.
Half of them think killing innocent human beings in the womb is "healthcare". I think we're long passed common sense.
I worked at Dickie Brennan’s Steak House. It’s good but not the best in New Orleans.

Edit: I’m now seeing it’s “most iconic”, not best. I think DBSH is a good choice for most iconic.

This is clearly supposed to be humor. A baby that young is just babbling and has no idea what mama or papa or whatever is, especially if he's never been around a maternal figure.

The amount of pro-Euthanasia people already in this thread is appalling. It's evil and no-one wants to talk about the "doctors" who have killed more people than any serial killer in history.

Edit: It's horrible for the mental health and soul of those who go to work to kill people.

My point was that you and others claim that the Pope is like a father that should be followed but you can disagree with, and yet what I see in practice are a lot of self-proclaimed Catholics disrespecting and dishonoring the Pope as if he's more like a mean step-father that you only have to obey in special cases, and you don't really need to even say good things about.
That's fair enough. If that's the case, then they are acting contrary to the Church's teachings and should correct their actions. It doesn't mean the Church's teachings are wrong. Same with abusive priests. They are acting in direct opposition to the teachings of the Church. Their actions don't mean the Church's teachings are wrong, it means the priest's actions are wrong.
My goal is deter people from doing things contrary to a flourishing society. As I said, our modern culture has accepted the liberal definition of freedom as being able to do whatever you want. That isn't freedom.
Again, I don't agree with that line of arguments. They said that about back-alley abortion and there were more deaths during abortion after Roe v Wade was passed. Just staying on the weed example, there's been a 20% increase in cannabis use and the frequency of people using it has gone through the roof. I'm not arguing whether or not weed is bad, but legalizing it had a huge effect on way more people using it and more frequently. If the goal is to deter people from doing something, it is hugely beneficial to make it illegal.

Oh damn! That's intense. I had sleep paralysis one time and a little grey alien walked up to my bed with it's face a couple inches from mine. Couldn't move but woke up throwing my pillow in that direction haha. Couldn't go back to sleep. Honestly, it prolly was 3 or 4:00. Your car going off and hearing things seems like more than sleep paralysis tho

edit to say I think these things are spiritual beings. Prolly demons. I don't buy there are alien beings from millions of light years away traveling here.
I think laws exist to deter people from those actions. It's why I never bought into the "legalize weed and less people will smoke because the stigma is gone". If we criminalize porn, less people will engage in it. And having more options doesn't make you more free. That's a liberal interpretation of freedom.

For 5 nights straight spooky shite happened and each time it was at exactly 3am.
What kind of spooky shite? Weird noises/lights or little gray things running around on 2 legs?

We live in a society and making degeneracy socially normal is a big part of what is eroding our society.
I've never had any issues with Spirit flights. Disappointing news. They're super cheap and get me to my destination no problem. I've been on 5 or 7 in the last 3 years.
Yall remember this for elections. Republicans never get anything done but democrats gave of this dystopian bs

saying 90% of the jury knew he was guilty
Well then it makes sense he was found not guilty because you need 100% to find him guilty. The racial backlash maybe caused them to not want to make arguments for 2 weeks.
quote:

by canon law, you are just not correct.
You should reread your own post. Views on border security and strategy on war in Iran is not Catholic doctrine, nor official teaching on morals and faith. You can treat immigrants with dignity without agreeing to allow anyone to come into the country. The Pope's comments are moral or pastoral judgements, not doctrinal.

quote:

Now, your opinion is the popularly stated one, and its the one that modern catholic online apologists like to promote, because their goal is not to be truthful about what the Catholic Church officially teaches but rather to get evangelicals to convert, because evangelicals are the ones that actually evangelize and bring in new converts. The other problem is most Catholics dont really know what the Catholic Church teaches. The ones who do know are not honest about it and the rest dont know any better
It's a popular argument because it's the correct teaching of the Church. Your problem is YOU don't understand the Catholic Church teaches.
Memphis is by far the closest city to New Orleans in every way.
