French attack vs. Dutch defense is like unstoppable force vs. immovable object.

Would help if any of the French forwards would, you know, get into the box

It is an offside offence. The referee awards an indirect free kick to the defending team. The attacking player is penalised for preventing an opponent from playing or being able to play the ball by clearly obstructing the goalkeeper's line of vision.

He didn’t obstruct the GK vision since he was off to the side

Goal should have stood.

These replays show the GK was no where near close to being able to save it and the Dutch player was behind him.

Terrible call

Cesc, Shearer, Wazza all say it’s a goal.

Kate's just so much better at hosting a studio show on top of it all.

The way she gets Dempsey to open up and be himself on CBS compared to Dempsey being a stiff with Rob Stone hosting Fox' Copa coverage last night was glaring.

She is the british female version of Ernie Johnson.

Fully understanding how math works, I know cognitively that he's only 38 but everytime I've seen a picture this week, I think he's pushing 60.

I was watching that old firm game live in the 90's when he started playing the flute. I thought mass riot was about to go down. That dude was certified nuts.

I agree he wasn't going to save it, but saying the Dutch player was behind him is just completely incorrect.

The overhead replay they showed on BBC shows him to the right a few yards and slightly behind the gk.
