Any old timers remember Patrick soccer cleats? They are great, if you can find them. Full leather and supple as hell. Only sold in Europe now I think but you can order them.

Or you can order one of the other 10 full leather cleats currently and readily available.

umbro's are the best and have always been, adidas a close second and then probably diadora. i wore a pair of Kelme's one year and really liked them, but always went back to umbro.

No - Umbro is not the best and objectively never was. Hard to define the best, bc that’s subjective, but it’s not Umbro. In terms of global sales, it’s probably something like:
1. Nike
2. Adidas
3. Puma
4. New Balance
4. Mizuno
5. Umbro
5. Under Armor
6. Diadora, Lotto, Pantofolo d’Oro
In terms of top to bottom quality/performance, I’d say Nike takes it mainly bc of the Superfly, Vapor, and Tiempo lines.

Puma.
I have used Nike, Puma, Adidas, and Under Armour. Puma is consistently the best, but it depends on foot shape as well.

For me these days, for my indoor career, it's nothing but steel-toed boots! It's great for keeping my toenails from getting crushed and great for that toe-poke goal!

Seen too many Tiempo upper and lower separate. Broken studs on Mercurial Vapor and Tiempo as well.
