Looked like he just tried to stop and spin to avoid most of the contact and just lost his balance. Looked like a standard fall from someone trying to avoid running into another player.

If I'm trying to draw the foul there, I'm probably grabbing at my foot like the defender stepped on it.

Even for him, it felt a bit extreme. Maybe old Mourinho teams just seemed more dangerous on the counter.
