3rd in Ligue 1 despite outspending everybody.

Lucky to get a 2-2 draw at Nice.

Monaco has scored 18 more goals and has a +13 GDF on the fricks.

I'm so glad I don't have this attitude in regards to the sports I enjoy watching. The irony is that it's a very English way of thinking coming from a Russian dude (I guess you're Russian idk) - to revel in others misfortune rather than focusing on your own enjoyment.

The English don't get enjoyment out of soccer.

Never understood this line of thinking and never will. At least all that pain and misery they put themselves through has produced the best sports league in the world IMO. And a fantastic TV product for me to watch from about 5,000 miles away.

Your reading comprehension is poor if you thought that statement said it was only the English.

Yeah I didn't mean anything by it dudes. I don't have as much familiarity with the mindset of fans from other major European leagues, plus I don't speak the same language, so the only real example I have is English football.

It's weird, you don't really see that as much in American sports, except maybe college football - the tribalism thing. It seems like a large majority of English football fans would rather their rival lose and be humiliated than for their own team to win. But like I said, whatever it is that fosters that mindset, it makes for fantastic game day atmospheres all across England.

PSG's success isn't measured by being above OM in the table. You know this.

I can honestly say that I would be just as satisfied w/ City finishing mid-table and defeating United 5-0 on the final match day to make sure they lose on GD than I would be if we won the title ourselves.

The melt alone would be worth it if someone somehow banned me from speaking.
