We are still at a point as a footballing nation that we celebrate a draw against our rival away from home like we just won a WC

When say something this hyperbolic, it really hurts any argument you make

Painful to watch but it got the job done.

this has always been the Bruce Arena way hasn't it?

i think now what's different is we have a player in pulisic who at any time could snipe a goal and pull out a victory whereas we usually would have just had a draw.

and it's clear to me that nagbe should be in every game. nobody else so far has been able to maintain possession under pressure with the athleticism to create, other than pulisic of course. i didn't understand the starting lineup last night, but especially leaving off nagbe and howard, but i'll take the point.

It wasn't that hard to understand. I can see not liking it, but it was easy to understand.

Bruce had a more forward thinking system than Bob Bradley, but both emphasized positioning more than JK. I think lots of people are excited about just having a functional system. I honestly think Arena can teach the possession game better than JK, if that is the direction we go.

Villafaña was hurt. They didn't want to risk Howard on a short rest, at elevation, and coming off a knee surgery.

I assume you want Guzan, and not Guzman.

Like I said. You may not like the decisions, but they are easy to understand.

And hell, I think Beasley played better than Yedlin.

Both played really well, that match showed us that Grandpa DMB is still legitimate left back depth.

I said it when he was hired, the team will play better, Arena learned a lot coaching in MLS, and learned from some of the world class players he had.

He was the perfect man to get us to Russia.

Get rid of Sunil, and let New Head guy get our next coach for 2019 to 2028+.
