That decision was actually easy and I am surprised the referee got it wrong.
Ball struck the sleeve area of the arm and that was deemed not handling about 2 or 3 years ago.

Probably but oh well you get those decisions at home I guess. All in all it didn't matter the defense is in absolute shambles and Mbuemo had an all time stinker. Put three solid chances 50 ft over the bar.

Yeah defense sucked arse and this may have been Mbuemo's worst game in a United shirt. Our inability to control games will keep us from Champions League football next year.

Mbuemo straight up looked like he was intentionally throwing those chances and moving at half speed. That last chance he had from 6 yards out that he absolutely shanked was awful. It's scary how quickly he has fallen down to our other players levels.

We actually looked dangerous going forward
Kobbie changed the match when he came on

Our defence’s inability to close down people in the box is abhorrent.

Shows how important De Ligt is in our back line. We need him back pronto. Yoro and Heaven are quality but just lack experience, you see it in temporary lapses in decision making. Luke Shaw is just old, unfit, and can’t play past 60 minutes.
It also doesn’t help that they are being shielded by a 2 man midfield where Bruno offers little defensively.

the last 2 goals to me looked like Martinez was a little rusty in his coverage and anticipation.

I would have to go back and rewatch but on the two goals where our CBs got split open in the box, I thought I saw Heaven get caught out of position on both. On the first one, Yoro was in no man's land as well. And of course, Shaw was directly responsible for the Semenyo goal. Just poor play at the back all around.
Also, Lammens needs to learn better positioning from that FK goal. Decent chance he gets a hand on it if he is shaded more to the right and is actually on his feet when the ball is struck.
What is painfully obvious is we have a solid group of technically skilled and physically talented players, but some of them need experience and others just do not have the mental capabilities needed to shoulder the burden of playing for United. You can look and say what you want about them "on paper" but we have seen the same shite go on for years with quite a few of these guys.

Good win and interesting match vs Newcastle....glad to have Martinez back!
If we can grab 9 points before the derby, that should put us in a great position for a top 5 finish. Easier said than done of course, considering we suck against the bottom half of the table.

Currently tied with last place Wolves

I don't even know what to say any more. The squad sucks.

Playing a back 5 against wolves at home, who is going to go down as arguably the worst premier league team of all time, is beyond embarrassing. Luke Shaw is trash, Dalot is trash, Cunha has regressed. We've had like 5 chances to somehow get into the top 4 and we've blown it against Wolves, West Ham, Forest, and Everton

So where does the club go now since Amorim has declared he’s leaving at the end of his contract in 2027?

Were cooked. Ineos have no idea what they are doing. Of course they appoint Fletcher as the interim.

Twas a good run and he shall be missed, just as we miss Ten Hag, Moyes, and every manager since sir Alex.

INEOS deal has done nothing for this club other than take heat off the Glazers. We will remain in the gutter until both are gone.

Hearing Glasner may the target in the summer. How can they play 3421 under him when they can’t do it under Amorim?!?
This roster cannot play 3 at the back.
