Not to mention Godfrey's borderline stamp earlier in the match.
Son deserves one of those every game he plays against Everton.
Modern referring is tragic. Stop the game for a penalty, VAR reverses the call, and that resulte in a drop ball to the defensive team.
You can also get a red for clearing the ball. Such a joke. Don't care where he hits the other player, he was first to the ball and cleared it.

I think VAR got it correct in the end, but Everton have a right to be pissed for stopping the match prematurely.

That one felt like Holgate knew what he was doing and tried to leave a little something on Hojbjerg to me. It didn't come across as totslly accidental.

If that didn't happen, I would be fine with the rest of the game.
Most of the time when the GK completely wiffs on the ball it goes out on the baseline, not out towards the sideline.
I hear ya and honestly agree, but this whole watching in slow-mo then judging intent takes something away from the game.

That's a fair take. I've complained about similar instances in the past.

Yeah, Creswell could have seen red there, but Im okay with him not... the foul on Alisson was just so obvious though...
edit: and on top of that they give Alisson an OG...

Bielsa on Forshaw: "I seriously had doubts that he could achieve what he has achieved. This is a message for those who doubted. It's a prize for his perseverance. He spent two years without playing. He never gave up." #lufc

Even though footballers get paid a lot of money, you won't find many who would see money as a substitute for two years out of the game injured. Must have been grim for Forshaw. But the fact remains, he was the player Bielsa rated most highly in his first pre-season at Leeds.
