Traore just shrugged Skipp off to the ground. This is like watching junior high kids try to tackle Jerome Bettis

Why the frick isn’t Ole starting Sancho?

Also, Mourinho might as well still be on the sideline, because this is exactly how he’d have them play as well. Against city, ok I get it, but wolves?

Which his why his appointment never made sense under levy’s mandate. We were led to believe that promises were made that he’d be more attacking. I never bought that, and it’s silly to try and force a manager to play a certain way to begin with.
It also doesn’t help that we have two defensive midfielders playing that are good at disruption, and not the best at control. It’s just going to be a long fricking season if the midfield can’t string together passes and maintain possession.

I love the peacock halftime where they show the highlights set to dramatic music

I don't think every match will be this bad. Wolves are just swarming at the moment.
A midfielder who can break a press would be useful (Ndombele type). Also, I don't love Son at CF.

Ndombele’s skill set would be ideal for matches like this, but who knows what’s going on with him.

Yeah the ndombele & lo celso signings are killing the squad. Neither have been able to consistently live up to expectations.
And yeah son as the middle man never looks great. I think we’d be better served with Bergwijn in that role, allowing son to play in his normal role out wide.
And you’re also right about home advantage being a big influence on the season once again. I was just hoping after the first 15-20 minutes Tottenham would’ve been able to settle in and assert a bit more control.

TBH we could use Kane’s vision/passing skills in the second half. He’s arguably more valuable unlocking wingers on the counter than in front of goal.

Absolutely. If he’s fit, he should be subbed in at half. If he doesn’t play it feels like he must be leaving.

Man United’s kit combo looks like arse.

Son always thinks there is a foul

Literally every player in the league would've claimed a handball there

Ole is really committed to the half zip jacket
