I know this was five minutes ago, but I thought it was funny that Carroll missed what should have been a goal.

When?

Like two minutes after Gerrard's second. 54th or so I think.

Suarez had it right on the touchline, passed it to Carroll in the box, and Carroll missed wide right on a ball he could have slotted in the corner.

They showed the replay like twice after

Maybe you were still too excited from Gerrard's brace.

Most boring Meyerside Derby I have ever seen. Moyes playing for the weekend. I mean, no straight red?

It's not a real rivalry. I'm sorry. I don't care what anyone says, it just isn't. There isn't any hate from any of these players towards the other. You aren't going to see many straight reds in the "Friendly Derby."

The intensity was missing to me. Everton was obviously playing for the weekends FA Cup Tie.

Ian Darke and Steve McManaman were talking about how it had the most red cards of any derby game in the Premiership era.

Exactly. Everton was playing for the Fa Cup match this weekend. They put out a poor squad and were hoping for a draw.

The ratio of fixtures to red cards in the last like 10 years is pretty absurd.
