The last 25 minutes (post-Bedoya card), the US was fine. They clearly have the talent, but they either played listlessly in the first 65 minutes, made mental mistakes (I am looking at you, Tim Ream), or bunched up in the center of the field like a U-8 girls' team.

I don't know. Wondo given a sitter roughly 1 foot away from the goal and somehow managing to send it 20 feet over the goal is pretty fricking bad.
