I say keep lumping it to the corners. Guad is over rotating like crazy. That backside ball has been on all day.

Wondo's been solid I think. Nice movement, held the ball up well at times.
Wondo hasn't done anything spectacular, but he's doing all the little things right. Making Near post runs, playing nice little one touch passes. Jozy and Juan make the same runs too often, and that's easy to defend.

Jones, outside of that one really bad ball to Lichaj toward the end of the half has been quite good.
Jones has been playing a good game followed by a bad game followed by a good game followed by a bad game followed by a good game. You'd think that a vet like Jones would be more consistant.

Translation......if he had the skill and athleticism to be a true international, I wouldn't be worried about the little things, just goals. He isn't on par with this group and we as fans deserve better.

He's not on par with our strikers?
Almost anyone is on par with our strikers.
He's done a lot of good things this half. Bit unlucky not to have a goal. I'm not a fan and was doubtful about him starting tonight but he's done ok.

He certainly has the skill. And he has a good goalscoring record. There's a reason he's here, he may have not deserved the call more than somebody like Herc or Buddle, but he has certainly earned the opportunity.

Yeah I'm ok with Wondo's performance myself. Although I wish he would stop sending the ball high and wide

Sucks that FIFA considers Guadaloupe part of France and they can never go to a World Cup. That's fricked up.

Can we get this ref every game? We would be going apeshit with some of these calls.

So how does that work? Could these guys represent France if they wanted? If not, what about a kid growing up in Guadeloupe with talent? Could he represent France, or is he stuck on the island?

Guadeloupe is one of the overseas departments of France. It's not its own country. It's not fricked up at all.

Yes. Lillian Thuram was born on Guadeloupe, among others.

Knowing people from Guadaloupe they no more consider themselves part of France than Canada considered themselves part of Great Britain.

Thanks for explaining.
Boy it looks like we have lost our intensity at the start of the 2nd half. I want to see goals.

Good lead by Jozy and then Wondo can't run it down. He's not fast enough guys. I'm sorry.

I don't know why I'm getting such a kick out of a dude named "Tacofred", but I am.
I can't stop saying "Tacofred".

Right. Doesn't change the fact it's not its own country, and is in fact an overseas department of France. If they were their own country and they still weren't able to field their own team, then I could see how that would be unfair. But they aren't.

Wondo's slow, there's no doubt about that.
Jozy's off the ball runs have been better than usual.

Good stuff from Jozy there. A bit unlucky not to get that goal
