I could be wrong but Jedi has less assists than Arfsten in a ton more games.

Jedi has 50 appearances, 4 goals, 8 assists.

Arfsten has 15, 1, and 4. So, I’m wrong.

Well 5 assists now for Arfsten so higher percentage but what I said about having more assists is wrong

There is zero reason to compare those players. If Jedi has been healthy for one day he starts over Arfsten.

They play the same position. That’s 1 reason. No one said Arfsten should start over Jedi. I just said he’s better in the attacking 3rd and for assists the stats would agree. Just not by as much as I said.

Regardless, I am enjoying seeing the team just be competitive and show a little pride. I saw more line-breaking passes in that half than maybe over the past 3 windows combined.

We still struggle with getting the ball to our 9 in the final third

They’re playing really well, I think.

I think we have a pretty strong 2-deep to take to the World Cup

Ehh Paraguay is willingly conceding possession and we’ve got I think one shot on target since the Gio goal.

We’re doing a good job with the counter press and, outside of the goal, have done a good job in thwarting their counter opportunities.

But we have been pretty bad in the attack

People love to hate him, but Roldan has a role with this team, probably our best 6 after Adams

Scally is playing too high up the field and taking away the space Dest needs to operate in.

We’re missing a handful of our best players against a World Cup quality side who’s one goal came on their one shot and we are maintaining the possession advantage. I’d say that’s pretty good for this squad. They’re starting to pick it up too.

They aren’t playing their best side either.

We should be better in the attack.

Gio doesn't get credit for an assist. What a good example of why just looking at stats creates a very limited picture.
