Aguero is the only one I could maybe argue against. Everyone else belongs.

Well that's an attack minded team

And where's Renato Sanches?

Yea no problem with Walker but I don’t think it’s one of his best seasons. Great start but wasn’t consistent after December. Also shows how underrated Valencia is.

Otamendi just benfiting that a majority of the CBs better than him were not healthy most the year.

Who would you replace him with? He has 21 goals and 6 assists in 25 appearances this season.

Yea Firmino was who I was thinking of. Not knocking Aguero at all. He deserves it.

Sterling if he could have kept it up

But since Christmas he fell off. That game at Burnley was when he lost his form for good.

He was on an absolute tear at first

Defensive Mids rarely get recognized in something like this, but Fernandinho was really good this year.

Who would you put in over him this year?

Rose was hurt
Young played well enough to get back in the England team but still isn’t better

Wasn’t really any other stand out player this year at that position

Fair enough... I think if AR would have started the season as our first team LB, I could easily make a case... but he didn't, so no point really.. same with VVD..

Kante could probably be included in this team because we'd be in 11th without him.

I agree, but the offensive players always get the nod (though I think if you'd have been in the title hunt he may have made it)...

Kante should be on this list until he retires.

Accurately depicts the EPL desire to rid itself of midfield altogether.

ARs been consistently good since he's come in... he's not had a bad game.. He didn't start all season and maybe not throwing him in earlier played a part in that... Like I said, I could make a case...

Ive seen Marcos Alonso have bad games... but hey, he's played all season and scored 7 goals - match winners (which plays a big part in this)... fair play to him..
