It's in black and white on the last page that I've been stringing him along for a while now.

He's not my responsibility anymore. SCH ruined the fun.

As for the league itself, I despise the idea that rich people could do something to take away from the people in need. Having said that, the people need to take the stand as mentioned above.

It's gutcheck time... Do the fans have it in them to make their feelings known and stop this? And furthermore, do the domestic leagues and associations have the willingness to pass on money for what is right?

I hope that I am wrong in my suspicion that those answers will ring "no".

Which brings up why it’s six clubs, as you need 15 clubs to expel a member from the PL, which explains why Tottenham is included with far more successful teams. But I think there are a few ways around that, through the board disciplinary commission, which can deducts points, as well as suggest clubs be expelled by rule B.6 (the 3/4 rule). It also has extremely wide leeway with regard to rule W.49.4, where it reserves the right to make any order it sees fit. The board can refer the matter directly to the FA, which reserves the right to expel any member for whatever reason. The EFL also retains this right.

It was alarming that Gary Neville of all people suggested expelling the clubs immediately today. If that’s how Gary feels, I can’t imagine that there is very much support for this in the football circles.

And I’ve been stringing you along since I realized very early on you didn’t know what UEFA was.

If you thought this decade had long stretches that were terrible, thank God you didn’t see the Route 1 being played 25-30 years ago.

I sometimes long for the days of an Everton team with a front line of Kevin Campbell and Big Dunc

The whole argument with you was me not giving a shite to even be correct about things because it had nothing to do with how I felt on the topic at hand.

Difference between us is I can separate my thoughts from emotions to frick with you. Literally every response to your UEFA thing was pure hip shooting to get reactions out of you since you were so eager to be pissy.

But go ahead and claim "counter-troll" when you were so clearly bugged by the admitted bullshite I fed you every step of the way (and still would be had a certain United fan not ruined my vibe).

Yes, both can be bad. The best era coincided with the tweaking of the offside law in 1990 and 2005, and ending the handling of the back pass by the goalkeeper. The inability of the majority of English teams to develop a possession game after the 2005 tweak had a terrible effect on the game, especially if there wasn’t an elite team committed to the possession game, though I was excited to see what this generation of English players could do.

I believe he nicked Gary Speed’s wife, and possibly caused his suicide. Or that’s the rumor.

I miss that brief Moyes era where he seemed committed to the possession game, like when Tim Cahill turned some Man City CB, maybe Kolo Toure, and set up Leighton Baines to finish with his weak foot, in what I believe was Mark Hughes last game in charge at MC. The quality of left backs in the league has gone downhill too. There was that one week where Andrea Dossena played like a god for Pool in 2008.

Love Chelsea. What a fun time it’s been to watch them play and win some trophy’s, especially being a uga fan born after 1985 lol, but I simply can’t get on board with this.

I’ve spent plenty of time in worlds end, mere minutes from the bridge, I’ve seen fist fights and heart breaking games from “fox in pheasant” and know the owners by name 1 block down from the stadium. Spent a lot of time, and money on the club, but I think this would just about make me have to stop watching as a “serious” fan. No more trips to that stadium or buying the jerseys to support them.

Fulham is very very close and would most likely get whatever is left of my attention and time over in London since I still enjoy the area.

What a horrible, horrible thing for this unique sport. Taking your billion dollar 12 teams up onto the top of the tree and essentially pulling the ladder up behind you completely fricking what makes this sport so emotional and fun.

I really, really hope there is some insane backlash here, take our CL, take our 4th place bullshite. I’m at a complete loss at this horrible horrible decision.

Everton loaned that portuguese kid Manuel Fernandes around 2008 and he was damn near unplayable. Then went back to sporting or wherever he was from and plateaued. Came back again to Everton but wasn’t the same

How moyes finished 4th with that 2004-05 squad and budget was insane

There were so many amazing games from that era too. That 2009 Fulham team was so good, and for the life of me I don’t know how a Danny Murphy-Dickson Etuhu midfield worked so well. I believe Etuhu followed Murphy to his next club too, because I don’t believe Danny could run any longer, and Dickson made up all the ground.

There’s a 4-3 game around this time between Tottenham and West Ham that had Bobby Zamora scoring and the great Marlon Harewood slicing a decent chance so badly it went out for a throw-in.

2007 was the peak for me. The top four was truly the top four, with all of them committed to the possession game more or less, and all of them extremely good at it. And Derby County, the fighting Benny Feilhabers, were the worst team I’ve ever seen. God it was great.

May be the only player I’ve ever wished a literal career ending injury on.

I mean, he assaulted a guy on fricking crutches. He was an abomination. To think they let him coach a youth team.
