yeah especially after watching that video, it had to be intentional.
the guy makes his living with his feet; he knew what he was doing and where he was putting it
that being said, i still enjoy hearing about all of swagotelli's exploits and he seems like he may be an okay guy, although very eccentric. but he lost his cool on this particular play

Almost looks to me like he could've actually stayed on his feet if he hadn't tried the stomp.

Definitely intentional but it was almost instinctive to him.

I think that it was likely intentional. Maybe not on the head, but he clearly stuck his leg backwards, which is very unnatural for someone falling. But I will say that Mario plays like a typical Italian, he always falls, flops, etc. Even as a City fan it frustrates me. Part of me (the City fan/Balotelli sympathizer) thinks that maybe he was trying to plant his foot to make for a better "fall" in typical Swag fashion. But reality says that he was stomping.
Now if Rooney did this, the FA would bend over backwards to acquiesce him (remember the FA appealing to UEFA on behalf of Rooney so he could play in the Euros?). Just like in the SEC, the Rooney's and Alabama's will always get passes, while examples are made of the others.
Here's to hoping that Dzeko finds his footing in the next 4 games.

Yep, just comes with the territory with Balotelli. Still, the positives FAR outweigh the negatives with him. He's world class.
Wrong board.

....right... making single reference to a conference that we all follow inside of a larger response that totally pertains to soccer doesn't belong on this board...duly noted
