Unreal match, felt like a late season top of the table clash... I have no doubt these two will be the class of the PL again this year

I know, I’m just being a dick, but that aside I can never stand when replays are shown even while very slow live action is going on.
At least double box it since everyone has a big tv now a days.
Regardless of the result of the shootout I think this was a pretty positive match for both teams today.

Not sure if City got tired and lost a little pace on the attack, but based on this game I think I rather a back line of Robo, VVD, Matip, and Gomez. Trent is really valuable attacking, but as a result puts himself and the back line in some vulnerable spots. Matip and VVD really play well together at the cb

TAA is too valuable in attack, IMO... maybe Joe against teams with a lethal LW, that can play on the front foot against us...

With you on that. Teams with players like Sane and Sterling. Would’ve been curious to see how TAA dealt with Sane for more of the game.

yeah, I feel the same... glad we stepped it up in the 2nd half...
Can't wait to get Mane back... adds another dimension/dynamic to our attack that no one else can replicate...
