Overall, was fun to watch...

Lucas is back

Nice to see the young guys, especially in the 2nd half... you can see where the hype comes from

New Kits looked sharp

Maybe its just me, but Shelvey is going to break somebody's leg with one of those tackles... very Scholes like... but he looks good otherwise..

Lucas had a great run into the box right before the end.

I thought Suso looked good playing off of Sterling, and I love his confidence in attack. He just needs to make sure he doesn't get carried away with it.

Joe Cole looked decent too. Hopefully his loan spell did him a world of good. His on the ball movement was very good, he just needs to be more decisive with his last touch. That last ball he sailed, you could tell he didn't really know whether to cut inside or cross.

Good to hear. I'm just glad he's back on the pitch. Can't wait to get home and watch on DVR. I feel like its been forever since last season's finale.

Did we wear the red kits? I assumed it would be black since TFC's default kit is also red.

Lucas didn't look bad, gave up on a stuff a bit too soon for my liking but's it's his first game back in 7 months, and a friendly at that, so understandable.

Sterling looked great, he's going to be a stud down the road.

Adam was Adam, I just don't see a place on this team for him if his form from last season persists.

Honestly, I'm hesitant to draw any conclusions from this sort of game, other then the fact our younger players look like they are coming along well.

It was kinda weird with the wholesale subs at half... Like watching 2 different games... the 2nd half was more entertaining...

The second half was much more attack oriented. I didn't like the squad selections. Thought Rodgers could have mixed them up a little bit better. The first squad was lethargic and unwilling to make forward passes. I think Rodgers obviously favors the second half better.

Even in a friendly I would expect Liverpool to £ the everloving poop out of Toronto. Pool, I am disappoint.

Finally got to watch last night. Overall I'm pleased. It's a starting point, and already you can see the Rodgers influence with his preferred style of play. A few notes:

- I dont want Sterling to go on loan. This year presents a perfect opportunity to see him on the wing, where we could use the help. Why not let him get his feet wet at least in Europa matches?

- You do not frick with the Dark Lord. He's one I'm excited to see progress this year.

- Aqua looked solid. He's a dynamic-type of midfielder that, to me, fits right in there with what Rodgers is trying to do. I think he's got a place on this squad.

- LUCAS!!!

- LOVE the new home kits! Nice to see them on the field instead of just photoshopped press release photos. If you were ever thinking of getting a red Liverpool shirt, now is the time.

- I'm just happy to see the boys play again! Seems like its been forever. I'm excited for the AS Roma friendly.
